3 Thursday Morning Sessions: Sept 3rd, 10th, 17th  9:30- 12:00

Mixed Media Trifecta

September 3rd-  creating a background with acrylic paints and "painting" flowers with acrylic inks (I will provide this canvas).

September 10th- creating a background using powder watercolor and constructing a bird or a fish using painted paper.

September 17th- creating a background with gouache and  constructing an abstract design using various types of paints , papers and acrylic markers.

• acrylic paints
  
• gouache paints (if you own them already)
  
• 2 canvas or board substrates- 8 by 10 or bigger
• brushes
• water container
• paper towels
• scissors

• 1 canvas per student
• stencils
• stamps
• painted papers
• magazines

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

I've taught my entire life, kids and adults alike.  Teaching art comes naturally for me and I enjoy bringing TONS of materials to the classes for everyone to experiment with.  I teach using a variety of materials including watercolor, acrylic and mixed media.

* NOTE: Doors open at 12:00 and close at 3:30 on Wed, and open 9:00 AM and Close 12:30 PM Thurs to give the instructor and students time to set up before class begins and to clean up at the end of each class.
