Artist Summer Camp #1: Get Loose-The Gateway to a More Expressive Art Practice

Are you tired of taking classes where everyone paints the same thing? If so, this class may just be for you! Together, we will explore ways to bring your paintings alive with looser, more expressive marks.

You will learn to:

  • Play while painting
  • Make marks and spread paint in new ways
  • Develop loose ink portraits using contour, blind, and non-dominant hand drawing techniques.

The objective of the course is to have fun and learn new techniques. Expect to go home with new ideas and ways to make your art work more appealing.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Lucy joined Park Hill Art Club in 2018 and is currently the PHAC Board Secretary. She started taking painting and mixed media classes when she retired in 2015.
