Students will have the opportunity to learn at least 8 watercolor techniques over a 3-week period. This class is mostly for beginners that want to experiment with this rich medium. Each class will produce a completed piece each session...worthy of framing.

Watercolor paints have prices that vary incredibly. Buy the best tubes you can afford. We’ll
talk more about that on day 1. Please don’t feel as though you need a bunch of tubes on the first day. I’ll actually have plenty of paint for you for the first day.
Brands that are always great to use:
Daniel Smith, Qor, Winsor Newton, Holbein
Order or grab a few tubes. Colors that you love.
A container to wash brushes
Brushes: one or two round, one or two flat, medium in size, medium quality is fine.
Paper: 140 pound , any size, Canson or Strathmore is fine for beginners
Towel or paper towels
Pencil
Small inexpensive water bottle
