This stand-alone workshop is different than the Paint and Paste I. The first workshop used handmade papers to create a fun collage artwork. In this workshop, you will create a neutral- colored collage background using your own handmade collage papers and other interesting scraps of paper. Then you will use paints and markers over the background to create a unique original artwork.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of artists who want to learn beginning techniques for making handmade collage papers and creating collage backgrounds.
You don’t need to buy new supplies! The instructors will bring almost everything you need including a variety of paints and acrylic inks, papers, brushes, pasting medium, and stamps for printing.

Wanda Patronella and Ruby Eichenour share a love of mixed media and colorful, whimsical artworks. Both Wanda and Ruby have backgrounds in adult education.
Wanda teaches Sip and Paint classes in the Denver area, and she also hosts Colorado mountain art retreats; Ruby has taught ESL and has facilitated a variety of courses and workshops for adult learners in US locations and abroad. Wanda currently serves as the president of the Aurora Artists Guild.
Ruby is a new board member at Park Hill Art Club. Both women emphasize having fun and expressing joy in their artwork and in their teaching.
