This stand-alone workshop is different than the Paint and Paste I. The first workshop used handmade papers to create a fun collage artwork. In this workshop, you will create a neutral- colored collage background using your own handmade collage papers and other interesting scraps of paper. Then you will use paints and markers over the background to create a unique original artwork.

At the end of this workshop, you will take home:

    • A few of your own unique handmade collage papers
    • 1 or 2 finished (or nearly finished) mixed media artworks
    • Ideas and confidence to continue exploring using collage for future artwork.

    Student Level

This workshop is suitable for all levels of artists who want to learn beginning techniques for making handmade collage papers and creating collage backgrounds.

You don’t need to buy new supplies! The instructors will bring almost everything you need including a variety of paints and acrylic inks, papers, brushes, pasting medium, and stamps for printing.
