OIL & COLD WAX WORKSHOP - VICTORIA KWASINSKI
(two-part workshop)
10/13/2022 and 10/20/2022 - 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Note: Students must attend both sessions especially if you're new to the process.

Supplies needed (I always have extra to share!)

• Two masonite boards or cradled wood panels (nothing over 24") boards (should be gessoed with 3 coats of black gesso before class) Masking tape the edges of cradled boards before you gesso them.
• Arches Huile (oil paper) attached to a board (cardboard, foam core, etc.) you can cut it in halves/fourths, etc. depending on your size preference.
• Gamsol
• Gamblin galkyd gel
• Gamblin cold wax medium
• Masking tape
• Big roll of paper towels
• Oil paints (bring what you have)
• Oil paintsticks (optional)
• small bottle sprayer that 'mists'
• Pad of newsprint
• Wax paper
• Tissue paper
• Small bubble wrap
• Squeegee
• Palette knives
• Brayers
• A couple of small size flat bristle oil brushes 
• Carving tools (look through your kitchen drawers :)
• Palette (nice to have a large glass type sheet as well for rolling the brayer)
• Rubber gloves (if you don't want to get paint on your hands)
