Calls for Entry
Submissions of art can be made at any time, but you must meet the deadline to be entered for a specific show.

Theme: Celebrating Red (predominantly red paintings)
Reception: February 10, 2020 4-6 pm
Theme: Graphic Arts ( including woodcut and linoleum prints, pencil drawing, pen and ink )

All receptions are held in the 2nd floor lounge of the United Methodist Park Hill Church, Montview & Glencoe, Denver.
General guidelines: Send edited/cropped photos (jpeg format) of paintings to be submitted to Joyce Nielsen (firstname.lastname@example.org). She will forward to appropriate juror. 3 images per submission, one submission per member. Must be PHAC member to apply. No fee to apply but if accepted, we will ask you for a few dollars to contribute to reception refreshments. Unless otherwise stated, all media taught in PHAC classes acceptable, so no photography. Original work only. No prints unless original. No giclées. Unless otherwise stated, paintings can be representational, abstract, or something in between—no limits re style. Generally, the larger the painting the better because of particular hanging system available. Submitted paintings must be for sale, must be framed (by time of show, but not in photo) and ready to hang. Accepted/invited paintings must be delivered to church on the specified date & time the week before reception. Information re Title, Size, Medium, Price, Name of Artist must be listed in email with images and must be on back of each invited painting. Artists may be asked to write a brief description of the painting &/or provide a brief artist statement. PHAC will ask for 10% of any sales.
